I am pissed off right now. The Oregon department of fish and wildlife recently killed 4 wolves that played major roles in the wolf population of Oregon. including the alpha of the original wolf pack to move down in to Oregon. The reasoning for this was that the wolves killed some small amount of livestock. This was for the survival of those wolves, they do not get to choose whether to eat or not if there is not food readily available or able to be caught and killed by those wolves then they must do what they will to survive. The ODFW (Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife) killed these wolves for having hunted and killed 4 small cattle over the past month, a very small amount actually, yet they labeled these killings as "chronic". They are not chronic but are these creatures fighting to survive. If these were "chronic" killings there would be twice as many. There haven't even been very many attacks since wolves were reintroduced into the wild in Oregon in the early 1900's. oregonwild.org states "Since wolves returned to Oregon in the late 1990’s, they have killed 61 domestic animals More than half that total were killed by a pair of young wolves that were in turn killed for the act. By comparison, in 2005 alone 700 sheep were killed by domestic dogs and 200 were killed by eagles in Oregon". Wolves do not kill for fun, and if they do they are then outcasted or killed by the pack for the irreverence they showed in killing the animal and wasting the meat. In 2005 5 times as many cattle were taken by human thieves over wolves! Are we killing people for that? NO! SO DON'T FUCKING KILL WOLVES FOR IT!!! AT LEAST THEY NEED THE MEAT TO SURVIVE!!!!!
Here's a list of the reasons of cattle mortality---
There isn't a large enough wolf population to shake the packs like this! The fighting to show dominance after the death of the alpha could kill over a quarter of the pack! Scientists say that it seems these four branched off from the rest of the pack but even then, that makes it worse! That means they killed a pack before it could even establish itself!
NOW, for all of you who don't care for the well being of wolves and other wildlife.. How about we talk in terms of money, wolves actually have a major economic impact in any area they are largely present. Now you may believe that this would be a negative impact because of loss of cattle, which we already discussed is not even a slight issue. Wolves actually are an economic benefit, the amount of wolf tours and other events dedicated to the creatures in states with high wolf populations improve the economy drastically. Pumping hundreds to thousands of dollars into the economy of that area. Wolves should continue to be protected instead of hunted and likely brought to extinction in the Oregon area AGAIN.
Here's a list of the reasons of cattle mortality---
- All non-human predators (including wolves, dogs, & unknowns) – 1.0%
- Poisoning – 1.2%
- Injury – 6.2%
- Calving (not including calf losses) – 7.9%
- Respiratory, digestive, and other diseases – 37.0%
- Other & unknown non-predator – 46.7%

Mmm Sushiiiii
For kipepekekeke reddington!
I overall just really love your style, the thickness of the lines paired with the slightly muted colors is really aesthetically pleasing and adding in the round softness of most of your drawings it makes them just plain adorable. (even if it's a moth that was ripped in half, you still manage to make it adorable)
The only thing I think you could improve on is working by timelines, I know how you work and I know that you work on what you have muse for at the time, but to get a larger watcher base, it would be beneficial to start working by a timeline.
CORE!!!!
Ahhhh, thanks to all my watchers and any of my buyers who've helped me get to this point!!!
A special shoutout to ~EmexRpg (https://www.deviantart.com/emexrpg) for buying a ref sheet and a full body from me, giving me the most points as of yet!
